And also as promised - some more informations on the real airplane. The data is from wikipedia...

Please forgive me that I did not recreate the cockpit...I'd have done it, but I didn't want to spend any more time on it. Also, please don't mind the errors, like Texture stretching but...

But still, maybe you like it ;)

ich denke die flugzeuge hätten vom hintergrund etwas mehr abstechen können.. so sieht es nämlich eher nach einer langweiligen Buchseiten aus. Aber sonst ist dieses bild gelungen.

nice and clear lines, looks accurate. dont mind the cockpit, i rather miss the landing gear, but yeah i'm also hate modeling for hours, than hide it on render.

Always appreciate your comments! I actually wanted to model the landing gear at first, but then I decided to make a scene in the sky, without a landing gear - and so I didn't model it in the end.
Next time it'll be there for sure. Thank you :)

nice. do you often model aircrafts?

i'm the project leader of Azure, a 3d game which you could call a flight simulation and i'd like to ask you if you're maybe interested in making some models for us. it's non-profit (OSS, GNU GPL, CC), so you won't get paid. seeing your planes inside a game would be everything you get.

Hey,

looks like an interesting project but I have to decline for several reasons: first off, I don't really model aircraft very often and second, currently I wouldn't have the time (or the motivation) to work on such a project.
Thanks for the offer anyway, seeing my stuff used for some game would be enough of a reward!
