Yes, it's been a while again...

Well, no long story this time, just a few words about the piece...
It started out very well, the modelling was fun and as you can (maybe) see, I'm trying to improve my modelling techniques and skills. Yet I soon lost the direction I wanted to go with this image and thererfore the model is not as good as I have imagined. Also, I tried various things for the BG and the presentation but nothing seemed to fit and so I stick with a simple layout.
I also want to say sorry for the somewhat weird and lame title but I guess it shows how much I like this thing...

So, let's take it as a modelling / rendering exercise and it will work out well ;)

Feedback is very welcome, I'd love to hear what you think!

Edit:
I didn't think that this would be needed but since some of you wanted to have some more informations about the technical details...

Programmes used as usual, Blender for Modelling and also Yafray for rendering. Rendertime wasn't too long as I used quite low quality settings but they are good enough for this size. The scene is made of 8 renders (GI and non GI ones) and 4 models, even though I hope that you don't notice that ;)
Well, I had to do this as rendering all 4 models at once would boost the rendertime...and I didn't want to use so much time for this piece...
The models consist of 1,982,502 vertices and so that's no wonder...if I'm honest that's way too much and my modelling wasn't too efficient this time.
PostPro in PS, although there was not too much to do - only some compositing, blurring, glowing and the BG and stuff.

I fear not, but I'll take a look. I'd have to re-render probably but that might take a while, since I have to find the files first and finish some other projects ;)
But thank you very much, glad to hear that!

Bah! You're much too hard on yourself. Quite a commendable trait that you're more than willing to improve an already-great work of art. If anything you should feel proud.

This is still a successful piece.

Can you pleeeeeeeeeeease teach me how to make stuff like this? I don't really mind if it's simpler than this by alot.. I just need to be able to make something to this scale.. If you have the time, can you show me how? Somehow..? Do I dare say 'Remote Desktop'? I'm just aching to make something like this.. :)
